Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany and I am a senior majoring in Nutritional Science. I am originally from the Bay Area and recently transferred to CalstateLA Fall 2019. I aspire to become a Clinical Registered Dietitian in hopes to be working in a hospital setting. I hope to help others reach a healthy relationship with food and find ways to overcome health conditions by implementing evidence based nutrition. I look forward to strengthening our learning experience with new ideas, plan events effectively and efficiently, and cultivate the importance of nutrition to the public. In my spare time, I love to hang out with family and friends, try new food and go on boba runs, and especially enjoy the outdoors by going hiking, working out, and traveling to new places. I also enjoy cooking and watching kdramas. I can't wait to work with the rest of the team to create a fun and educational environment for you all!
Hello beautiful people! My name is Sydney Tan and I am currently in my second year here at CSULA, majoring in Nutritional Science. In high school, I was very involved in sports and developed a passion for health and fitness, which led to my interest in nutrition. As a huge believer that your body is your temple, I aspire to motivate and guide others to live a healthier, more active lifestyle and use nutrition as a preventative health measure to prevent diseases such as Type II diabetes. My goal in the future is to open up a business to support others in maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle in terms of diet and exercise in hopes of lowering the risk of preventable diseases. During my spare time, you will find me making smoothies, baking, exercising, doing yoga, or just outside enjoying nature. As your SDA secretary, I look forward to creating agendas to run our meetings and do my best to serve you all. I hope to make a great impact in the dietetics community and meet all of you!
Hi, I’m William (Will for short)! I’m an aspiring dietitian looking to use my background in communications, project management, and operations to help improve society’s relationship with food and bring awareness to our environmental footprint. My dream career is to work in Public Health Nutrition because it’ll be a great platform for me to make an impact. But until then, I’m your SDA treasurer who will guarantee accurate accounting of our budget and ensure a great time being part of SDA.

Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa and I am a senior studying Nutritional Science. I am the Social Media Manager for this semester. Currently, I am working in a restaurant, so using social media is key, therefore,I have been able to develop these skills. I aspire to become a future RD. I hope to find a position in the future where I can help work with at risk mother’s in the community and provide basic nutrition to them and their young children. I would also like to work in community nutrition education or with programs like WIC. I believe the children are our future and we should do everything possible to give them the right tools to have successful eating habits.
Hello! My name is Ricky and currently in my senior year studying nutritional science. I grew up in the SGV, and since joining sports in high-school I have developed an ever growing passion for nutrition. Originally, I started off with my own self studying, then figured I’d give nutritional science a shot and haven’t looked back. I love learning about new ways to better my health, and spreading the knowledge I learn from this journey to everyone around me to help avoid the risk of disease. I’m currently on the road to becoming an RDN, and I’d love to accomplish something extraordinary involving nutrition.
